The Inner Game

How can we be effective leaders of ourselves and others? How can we get the best results by overcoming the self-limitations we often impose on ourselves? This seminar will take you through the essential concepts and tools of The Inner Game® to find out how your "Inner Game" works and how it can be conquered.

"In every human endeavor there are two arenas of engagement: the outer and the inner. The outer game is played on an external arena to overcome external obstacles to reach an external goal. The inner game takes place within the mind of the player and is played against such obstacles as fear, self-doubt, lapses in focus, and limiting concepts or assumptions." – Tim Gallwey

Great leaders, managers and professional athletes claim that, in order to achieve success and high performance, they continually fight against their inner enemies. Indeed, the inner game is always the same, regardless of the outer activity in which we are engaging. Being aware of this and knowing how to manage it is what determines success or failure.

So, how can we be effective leaders of ourselves and others? How can we get the best results by overcoming the self-limitations we often impose on ourselves? How can we make the best choices at the right time? How can we reduce conflicts? How can we stay focused in high pressure situations? How can we engage and motivate our employees? These and many other questions will be answered in this workshop!

This daylong event is 100% practical and experiential, taking you through the essential concepts and tools of The Inner Game® and giving you the chance to find out how your inner game is played and how it can be conquered.

The goal is to contribute to developing essential skills of leaders who maximize performance and get the most from collaborators, using a leadership style that favors learning and guarantees everyone’s satisfaction.

During the event, you will become aware of how your inner game impacts your leadership style, shedding light on your purpose and goals. You will also learn to let go of any interference so that your potential and that of your collaborators can be expressed naturally.

Practical exercises will allow you to hone internal skills such as non-judgmental awareness of an experience, self-confidence and clarity of objectives. You will not only improve the performance but also the learning and satisfaction of any activity (outer game) you do.

You will learn to

  • be a more assertive and effective leader;
  • adopt a leadership style that improves team involvement, enthusiasm and development;
  • clarify your purpose and goals;
  • understand the limitations and self-imposed obstacles that interfere with achieving your desired results;
  • conquer your inner voice, which creates doubts and insecurities, to access your full potential;
  • create an environment for sustainable growth and learning.
