Since the beginning of the pandemic energy prices have widely fluctuated, bouncing around like a pinball.
The extraordinary fluctuations and volatility have been causing serious troubles in the economy and have changed risk and portfolio management processes. Even though energy prices have fallen steadily in 2023, European gas prices remain around 50% above their pre-invasion long-run average, which is hurting both households and businesses.
Understanding drivers for price movements is essential but not enough for navigating complex and dynamic markets.
During the event we will look back at the last six month in the energy industry, we will review the drivers impacting next month’s prices and we will discover how utilities have faced prices movements, volatility and low market liquidity.
